I\u2019m Marta Pons, the face and soul behind this project. Meticulous Mathilda was born out of one of my greatest passions: sewing. I developed an interest in the world of fashion from a very young age, always inspired by past icons and the idea that the clothes we wear are an extension of our personality. For that reason, they should reflect a unique and unmistakable identity.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

I studied Audiovisual Communication at the Complutense University of Madrid and later pursued a Master's in Fashion Design. It was during that time that I conceived Meticulous Mathilda as a personal project to develop my own creations. Until then, I worked professionally in the audiovisual sector, while sewing occupied a large part of my free time. I continued\u2014and still continue\u2014to learn to this day by taking various courses in pattern making and fashion design.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

In 2023, after a period of inactivity, I revived an old Instagram account I had and started sharing my designs with the world. Thanks largely to all the support I received, I decided to take things a step further, and in 2024, I launched this website to share my own patterns, offer my pattern-making services, and provide tips, advice, and guides related to my work.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

After more than ten years of sewing my own clothes and recycling fabrics, I decided to start selling my own patterns. From the beginning, my goal has been to create designs for everyone, ensuring no one feels excluded because of their size. This is why I have been continuously training, and starting in October 2024, all of my patterns will feature inclusive sizing and will have been tested on as many body types as possible.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Meticulous Mathilda is being built day by day, so I\u2019m constantly weaving new ideas that help bring everything I do closer to my community.
